2. Information We Collect

Candidates

• Professional Profile: Name, headline, professional summary, work history, education, certifications, skills, and experience.
• Preferences & Compensation: Salary expectations (securely stored and never made public), location, and work arrangement preferences.
• Contact & Authentication: Email address (used strictly for authentication via magic link). Phone number is entirely optional, kept strictly private, and never shared.
• Resume & Documents: Resume file (stored in access-controlled, encrypted storage).
• Behavioral Profile Data: Verified behavioral signals and working patterns generated if the Wrkmark desktop app is used.

Companies

• Company Profile: Company name, website URL, company description, and verified contact email.
• Job Details: Job post details, role requirements, and genuine compensation ranges.
• Billing Information: Payment information processed directly by Dodo Payments (dodopayments.com). We never store or process credit/debit card details on our servers.

3. How We Use Information

• To match candidates with relevant job posts algorithmically based on skills, preferences, and verified behavioral signals.
• To allow companies to review matched candidate profiles and initiate direct contact.
• To send essential transactional emails, including magic login links and payment receipts.
• To maintain and improve the accuracy and fairness of our matching algorithms.
• We never sell data to third parties.
• We never share candidate contact info with companies without explicit candidate action.

4. Data Sharing

• Candidates: Your profile is shown to companies only when algorithmically matched to their specific job post.
• Private Contact Info: Email and phone numbers are NEVER shared with any company without your explicit consent.
• Resumes: Accessible to matched companies only via time-limited, secure access links.
• Payment Data: Processed securely by Dodo Payments under their comprehensive privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance standards.
• No Third-Party Brokers: We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to advertisers, data brokers, or external entities.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Database Infrastructure: All data is stored on Supabase (supabase.com), built on enterprise-grade, SOC 2 compliant infrastructure.
• Storage Buckets: Resumes and uploaded documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage buckets.
• Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and encrypted at rest.
• Access Control: Row-Level Security (RLS) policies are enforced at the database level across all tables to guarantee strict data isolation.

6. Your Rights

You maintain full control over your personal data:

• Access: View your complete profile and matched records at any time.
• Delete: Request complete account deletion by emailing support@wrkmark.com. We fulfill deletion requests within 30 days.
• Export: Request a full export of your personal data by emailing support.
• Update: Edit or correct your profile information directly through the platform at any time.
• Withdraw Consent: Pause matching or delete your account at any time.

7. Cookies and Tracking

• We use essential cookies strictly for secure session management and authentication.
• No advertising cookies or third-party behavioral tracking scripts are used.
• Analytics: Powered by Umami, a privacy-focused analytics engine that collects no personal data and does not track users across sites.

8. Children's Privacy

Wrkmark Jobs is designed solely for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from minors. If we discover that a minor under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete it.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of Wrkmark Jobs following such notification constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Subscription and Billing

Candidate membership fees (₹99/year India, $9/year globally) are non-refundable after profile activation. Fees grant platform access only and do not guarantee job placement, interviews, or employment outcomes.
